Minions Need a Backup Plan
Companion and minion setups can create breathing room, but they are not a substitute for player positioning. Watch whether elite enemies erase your front line quickly. If the companion falls under focused pressure, move immediately rather than waiting for monsters to redirect onto your character.

Experienced farmers evaluate a Grand Expedition immediately after the first activation. The opening moments reveal whether damage is sufficient, whether recovery can keep pace, and whether movement remains available while attacking. Can the first Runic pack fall without using every defensive tool?
Can Life or Energy Shield recover while pressure continues?
Can the build reposition without surrendering most of its damage?
If two answers are negative, reduce the next route's danger rather than forcing the same combination again. This adjustment is particularly valuable for characters transitioning into endgame maps, where one extra Remnant can shift an encounter from comfortable to punishing.
Spend Liquid Verisium With a Purpose
Liquid Verisium becomes useful after the relevant Expedition Atlas passive is available, allowing players to begin a Runic Remnant encounter with an additional random inscription. Its value is not simply having another button to press; it gives a farming session more flexibility when the current options do not suit the build.
Use it when your route has space for another controlled encounter and your defenses are stable. Saving it is often smarter when map modifiers already amplify monster density or when your flask charges are running low. Resource planning should support repeatable maps, not chase every possible reward spike.
